I am long overdue with an update, I know, and hopefully I will deliver tonight or tomorrow. But in the meantime, this is too cool not to share. Through Katie I hear that chef extraordinaire, intrepid culinary ambassador, and fellow tall woman Julia Child was a spy during World War II. Next time I drink something worthy, I'm raising a glass to her and her awesomeness.

I've never heard that either! She really was a wonder.
I look forward to catching up with you when I get back. I want to hear all about your summer.
To quote my mother when I sent her the news:
I LOVE IT!
A glass of wine indeed.
I didn't know that was a secret. I knew she had worked for that agency, (It's where she met Paul), and I always just assumed there was more to the story than she was letting on.
